Our Programs

What is the Charity Care Program?

Cure 4 the Kids Foundation believes all patients deserve the chance for recovery and to receive the latest and most current treatment protocols for a variety of specialized diseases. Our founders saw first-hand that the outcome of many patients facing a life-threatening health crisis was often determined solely by the amount of their medical insurance coverage, or lack thereof. Today, the granting of Charity Care program is based on an individualized determination of financial resources, expenses and other determinations.

To be considered for the Charity Care program, an application must be submitted along with documentation relevant to make a determination of financial need. Patients who are insured or underinsured may also apply for the Charity Care program to assist with patient balances after insurance has fulfilled its financial responsibility. If you have specific questions about the Charity Care Program, and whether you might qualify, we highly recommend that you contact our Billing Department at mybill@cure4thekids.org or (702) 862-1134

What is the COBRA Assistance Program?

We understand having and maintaining adequate health insurance coverage is top of mind for our patients and their families.  While most of our patients obtain health insurance through an employer or state-based program, such as Medicaid, we recognize the challenge families face when employment changes result in loss of health insurance coverage.  If you have concerns about maintaining your health insurance coverage due to changes in employment, you may be eligible for our COBRA Assistance Program.  Please contact our Social Worker at (702)732-1493 to discuss your individual circumstances. We recommend contacting our Social Worker as soon as possible as your eligibility to extend health insurance coverage through COBRA is time-sensitive. We may request specific information from you to determine eligibility for the program. Cure 4 the Kids Foundation also has a Charity Care Program to assist patients who are uninsured or under-insured. To find out more about our Charity Care Program, please speak to our Patient Account Representative at 702-862-1134 or email us at mybill@cure4thekids.org.

What assistance do I qualify for?

The Charity Care Program ensures patients who are unable to pay for treatment, or without medical insurance, will receive the medical attention they need. Cure 4 the Kids Foundation will never turn a patient away from treatment for financial reasons.
