We are thrilled to share the capabilities of our onsite Learning Center with our patients and their families. Our Learning Center offers a variety of programming and components to support every level of the student. Janie’s Classroom, through a collaboration with JanieStrong Foundation, is our onsite classroom with teacher assistance, tutoring, activities, and lessons every day. Through our partnership with Clark County School District, we are able to offer CCSD navigation, Care Solace, School Reintegration plans, homebound services, and assist with 504 plans and IEPs. 

Janie’s Classroom is a supplemental education center established in honor of Janie Bordinhao, a Las Vegas native, proud CCSD teacher, and angel cancer warrior.  Our center is unique as we have formed a partnership with the Clark County School District which has provided both a licensed educator to operate the classroom and assist our patients/students while they are undergoing treatment. We are also able to provide a licensed guidance counselor for college and career planning. 

Our goal is to make sure our immunocompromised patients who cannot attend a traditional school environment still receive the same support and guidance as their peers
