COLA Accredited Laboratory

Cure 4 The Kids Foundation features a nationally accredited laboratory that enables us to run lab tests required for a variety of infusion treatments in just minutes. This capability, featuring industry-standard lab equipment, reduces wait times and extra trips to get labs completed resulting in quick and accurate results for both our patients and providers. Combined with our skilled pediatric phlebotomy staff, our laboratory provides the highest quality patient care possible.

Specialized Pharmacy

There are many medical conditions that require specialized treatments that are typically only available in major metropolitan areas — most often within large teaching hospitals. The Specialty Services Clinic at the Cure 4 the Kids Foundation has worked for many years to expand these services into Nevada. Through agreements with respected facilities and providers, the Specialty Services Clinic provides access to highly specialized care that would not otherwise be available in the state.

Collaborative 17-bed In-Patient Unit

Cure 4 The Kids Foundation features a collaborative 17-bed In-Patient pediatric oncology unit at Summerlin Hospital. Children with cancer can now get the specialized medical care they need through this collaborative partnership including care for Autologous Stem Cell Transplant. Our oncology teams visit our patients at Summerlin Hospital when they cannot come to the clinic which makes the journey just a little better.  With increased capabilities at our clinic, we were able to decrease the number of hospital visits for our patients by 19.72% in 2019.  We strive to keep our children out of the hospital as much as possible, for our kids and their families but it is good to know that if your child has to be admitted, you will get the same love and care.

It’s Time To Make a Difference

Multi-disciplinary case conferences is how health professionals may meet to discuss, plan, coordinate or make arrangements on behalf of a patient. Case conferencing is a formal, planned, and structured meeting whose goal is to provide holistic, coordinated, and integrated services across providers, and to reduce duplication. A Case Conference is a formal meeting that takes place when the safety and welfare of a person we support may be at risk.

We Care About Your Comfort

The clinic can be a frightening place for many children. In order for children to tolerate a variety of diagnostic or painful procedures, sedation may be necessary. Health care providers who are skilled in the administration of pediatric sedation assess each patient and determine what sedation they may need for a procedure or test, based on the child’s health history and developmental level. Our team’s mission is to ensure that regardless of where in the hospital your child is being sedated they will have consistently safe, high-quality care.

Customized Care For Your Needs

Coordination for patients with complex health care needs often involves multiple participants who individually provide specialized knowledge, skills, and services*, and who together potentially provide a comprehensive, coherent, and continuous response to a patient’s unique care needs. We help to coordinate for out of state medical care as needed.
