The Clinical Quality Coordinator is responsible for assisting in maintaining and implementing clinical and organizational compliance including regulatory standards. This position assists with creating and implementing organizational efficiencies including performance improvement projects, Joint Commission readiness, and clinical compliance. This position works hand in hand with the Manager of Clinical Services and Quality to ensure compliance with patient care quality standards and maintains performance improvement activities within the clinic and participates in QIR activities.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position that reports directly to the Manager of Clinical Services and Quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Assists with oversight of organizational clinical compliance and Joint Commission readiness.
b) Assists in identifying gaps and the creation of plans of action.
c) Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulatory standards at all times through established practices.
d) Works in close alignment with Manager of Clinical Services and Quality and other leaders throughout the organization to recognize potential issues and works towards and implements solutions.
e) Assists in developing plans of action for organizational effectiveness and oversees implementation and successful spread of initiatives.
f) Establishes and maintains methods for the organization to continuously improve quality for patients and families through innovative methods and ideas.
g) Implements and ensures compliance with employee health and training.
h) Assists with organizational infection control programs and patient safety programs.
i) Assists with organizational audits, data, reports, tracking, and mock surveys to ensure continuous compliance needs are met.
