Clinical Research Associate
The Clinical Research Associate monitors activities of clinical studies to assure adherence to Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), SOPs, and study protocols. Review regulatory documents as required and prepare site visit reports. Responsible for multiple projects and must work both independently and in a team environment. May participate in the study development and start-up process including reviewing protocols, designing and/or reviewing CRFs, preparing Informed Consent forms, developing study documents, organizing and presenting at investigator meetings, working with management on monitoring strategy, and/or developing project-specific CRA training. May participate in clinical training programs and maintain awareness of developments in the field of clinical research as needed.
Position will report directly to the Lead CRA
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree is a must (BS preferred)
- 18 months of onsite CRA monitoring experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Oncology study experience preferred.
- Sound knowledge of medical terminology and clinical monitoring process.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy, proficiency in MS Office.

Job Description – Pediatric Rheumatologist
We are seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Rheumatologist to join our Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. He/She will join an established program, which is a full member of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) and the state’s only federally funded hemophilia treatment center (HTC), serving a population base of approximately 1.2 million.
Over the past year we treated 223 Pediatric Rheumatology patients. From a rheumatology standpoint, we see an average of 100 new patients per year. As the most populous city in the state of Nevada, Las Vegas balances an excellent quality of life, a growing economy, and a safe and clean living environment in a state with no state income tax.
There are wonderful opportunities for entertainment and outdoor activities in addition to nightlife and an incredible diversity of restaurants.
Requirements
- Medical Degree
- Completion of an accredited residency program.
- Licensed for the practice of medicine in the state of Nevada.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Rheumatology.
